Judge Won't Dismiss Murder Case Against Suge Knight Despite Witness' Refusal

A judge has refused to dismiss the murder charges against Marion 'Suge' Knight despite a key witness - one of the men he's accused of running over - refusing to identify him in court.

Knight is charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run for allegedly running down two men in January, killing one of them.

Cle "Bone" Sloan initially told police that Knight was driving and ran them over. However, when it came time to testify, Sloan refused to say it was Knight who was behind the wheel.

Knight's attorney wanted the judge to dimiss the case. However, Superior Court Judge Stephen A. Marcus replied, "He doesn't say that it's not him. The only person who had a motive was Suge Knight."

Knight, the founder of Death Row Records that once had Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg among its artists, is being held on $10 million bail.
