MTV Gives 'Jersey Shore's Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D Spinoffs

MTV has given the green light to two shows featuring 'Jersey Shore' cast members Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley and Paul 'DJ Pauly D' Delvecchio.

Each show will "chronicle the lives all three lead away from their summer shares and housemates," according to MTV.

"The Jersey Shore cast is at the center of the show's ongoing success and Nicole, Pauly D and Jenni have become household names as a result of their unique, sometimes outrageous and often hilarious personalities," says the network.

"We're excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships. Both series are fun, fresh ways for us to evolve what is an already successful brand for us."

One will feature Polizzi and Farley, while the other will focus on Delvecchio. MTV has ordered twelve episodes of each show to start off.

"Always inseparable and ready to get the party started at the shore, viewers will get to see how they deal with life and love when the vacation is over," it describes the Snooki and JWoww series. "The locale may be different, but the friendship is sure to remain the same."

While the second series will "follow Pauly D's jet-setting and often hilarious life on the road as one of the country's most in-demand DJs. Aiming to become one of the world's most successful and recognized names in music, viewers will get to see Pauly D chase his dream with the help of the best friends he grew up with in Rhode Island by his side."

MTV says they hope to duplicate the "humorous and unapologetic" style that has made 'Jersey Shore' a hit. The show's third season drew an average of 7.9 million viewers a week. The upcoming fourth season, set in Italy, will be broadcast later this year.
