Michael Bay Officially Confirms Rosie Huntington-Whiteley For 'Transformers 3'

What we reported earlier this week is now official: Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is replacing Megan Fox (photosMegan Fox photos) in the 'Transformers' franchise.

Director Michael Bay confirmed the news by welcoming the 23-year-old Angel on his official web site.

"I would like for all you S4TE fans to welcome Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to the world of Transformers," says Bay. "As some of you might know, she's the new female lead in Transformers 3."

This won't be the first time the supermodel has teamed up with the director -- though it will mark her acting debut. The two first worked together when Bay helmed Victoria's Secret 'A Thousand Fantasies' ad in 2009.
