Megan Fox To Host 'Saturday Night Live' Premiere With U2

Megan Fox (photosMegan Fox photos) will kick off the 35th season of NBC's 'Saturday Night Live', with U2 by her side as musical guests.

Fox will be host the September 26th episode to promote her upcoming film, 'Jennifer's Body'. The Diablo Cody-penned flick will have been released a week earlier.

Meanwhile, U2 will take a small detour from their 360 Tour to perform two days after their two sold-out concerts at East Rutherford, New Jersey's Giants Stadium.

The appearance will mark the third time Bono, the Edge, Larry Mullen Jr. and Adam Clayton have taken the SNL stage. The group gave its first performance on the comedy show when Val Kilmer back in December of 2000.

Fox will be followed by Ryan Reynolds & Lady Gaga (photosLady Gaga photos) (October 3), Drew Barrymore and Regina Spektor (October 10) and Gerard Butler & Shakira (October 17).

'Saturday Night Live' has added two new cast members, Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad, for the upcoming season. Both comedians have connections to the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, which has been home to several other cast members.

Finally, 'Weekend Update Thursday' is also slated to return for a second season, with the first episode set to premiere on September 17.
