Mark Wahlberg To Make Rare Cameo On 'Entourage'

Mark Wahlberg will make a rare cameo appearance on Entourage, the HBO series he executive produces.

Wahlberg will appear on the show when the fifth season begins next month. He hasn't appeared on the show, loosely based on his own life experiences as an actor and celebrity, since the pilot episode.

He will interact with Jeremy Piven, who plays Ari Gold: "I did one other cameo in the pilot but I didn't get to do a scene with Jeremy Piven. This time it's me and Piven going at it, so it was fun." Wahlberg also refutes rumours that the show is nearing an end: "No, no, no, 'Entourage' will go on until 2030 if I have anything to say about it."

Mark reiterated how excited he is to be starring in the 'Max Payne' movie, which will be released in October: "This is the kind of movie I would run out to see. The kind of movies I watch are definitely guys' movies. This is 'Departed.' This is 'Fear.' This is all those characters times 10."

Other celebrities who will put in 'Entourage' cameos as themselves this season include Tony Bennett, golfer Phil Mickelson, NBC's Ben Silverman and a few members from the cast of ABC's 'The View'.

'Entourage's fifth season premieres September 7 on HBO. Wahlberg will appear on the September 14 episode.
