Mark Hamill Didn't Know About Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher's Affair

'Star Wars' co-star Mark Hamill says he had no idea about Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford's affair on the set of the 1977 film.

The 65-year-old actor, who played Fisher's brother in the iconic franchise, says he was "blissfully unaware" of the relationship until the revelation.

"I was so self-involved at that point, they could've been doing it in front of me and I wouldn't have noticed," he jokes with ET. "I was single and had my own agenda."

"I think it might have been a distraction if I had known what was going on," he admits.

Hamill says while on-set romances are "commonplace", he believes they are "tricky" business.

"If the relationship doesn't last and you're on a TV series and you got four more seasons to go, it can be really awkward," he explains.

Hamill says he once had a short-lived romance with his 'General Hospital' co-star Anne Wyndham, who ironically played his sister on the soap.
