CBS' 'MacGyver' Reboot Finds Its MacGyver In 'X-Men' Star Lucas Till

CBS has found its new MacGyver in 'X-Men' star Lucas Till.

Following an extensive casting process, the network has decided on Till to lead its reboot of the franchise of the 1985 TV series starring Richard Dean Anderson.

The reboot will follow a young MacGyver as he's recruited into a secret Department of External Services where he uses his knack for solving problems using everyday items in unconventional ways.

Newcomer Joshua Boone has also joined the pilot as a series regular to play MacGyver's best friend from high school.

Till plays mutant Havok in the upcoming 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
