Lost Season Premiere Arrives, Cast Interviews & Eight Minute Recap

The 'Lost' season four premiere is finally here as the island drama returns to the tube in its new day and time tonight at 9 PM on ABC.

Josh Holloway (Sawyer) tells fans they are in for a wild ride in season four and speaks highly of the eight episodes filmed so far: "It truly astounds me still that they can shock us as a cast and completely blow us away, because we of course have been involved with it since the beginning."

"But this season has really -- boy, has it gotten concise. Now that they've been able to give an end date to the show there's no more wasting time to elongate the story or whatever. Now it's like razor sharp focus, so hold on to your seats because every episode is bam bam bam."

Jorge Garica (Hurley) agrees: "The scripts are really exciting. It's very much reminiscent of the excitement of going through the scripts we got in season 1, where it was really crazy directions and like 'What's going on?'"

"Season 4 is going to be very important," he says "A lot of closing teasers are really WTF moments, and it's going to be pretty cool. There have been some great final pages in scripts we've been reading."

What about the mysterious freighter? Holloway says: "It's gonna blow your mind, I'm not kidding you, where this goes."

We'll at least get eight new episodes. This was supposed to be a 16-episode season, but production was halted due to the writers' strike. However, if the strike resolved within the next few weeks, which we believe it will, there is still hope for a full season, even if it involves a short break in between.

Finally, ABC has put out a fun 8:15 long recap for seasons 1-3. An hour long recap episode will also air before tonight's premiere.
