Late Night Hosts Take On Jeff Sessions' Testimony

Late night hosts took on Jeff Sessions' testimony to the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday and joked about how little the Attorney General seemed to recall.

Stephen Colbert said it was impossible for Sessions to not recall if former national security adviser Michael Flynn had contact with the Russians.

"Wait a second, everybody knows there was communication between Russia and Michael Flynn, that's why he was fired," Colbert said. "Sessions really seems to know nothing, which explains why he was the first senator to endorse Trump."

Seth Meyers devoted his closer look segment to Sessions' testimony.

"That's right, Sessions is defending his honor from scurrilous innuendo," he said at one point, "and there's nothing more Southern than scurrilous innuendo."

While Jimmy Fallon put in his two cents in his monologue.
