Larry David Makes Holocaust Joke On 'Saturday Night Live'

Larry David is receiving flak for mixing jokes about Harvey Weinstein and Holocaust on 'Saturday Night Live'.

David started out by talking about the sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein.

"I couldn't help but notice a very disturbing pattern emerging which is that many of the predators — not all of them, but many — are Jews. And I have three words to say to that: oy vey ist mir."

After saying the line that translates into "woe is me," David said: "I don't like it when Jews are in the headlines for notorious reasons

"I know I consistently strive to be a good Jewish representative," he said.

"I often wondered if I'd grown up in Poland when Hitler came to power and was sent to a concentration camp, would I still be checking out women in the camp? I think I would," he wondered.

One viewer summed up the reaction on social media, writing: "Did Larry David really just use his platform on SNL to turn a comment about the Weinstein scandal into a Holocaust joke? Yes. Yes he did."
