Kirstie Alley: Getting On A Treadmill 'Would Make Me Slit My Throat'

Kirstie Alley may have been the target of fat jokes in recent years but that doesn't mean she's eager to workout.

Alley cleared the 100 lb. weight-loss hurdle earlier this summer, but she says the tricky part is keeping it off.

"Maintenance probably is the hardest part," the 60-year-old tells 'People'.

Although she's found an alternative: Dancing.

"I dance almost every day," explains Alley, who competed on 'Dancing with the Stars' last season. "It gave me something that I can do every day that I actually love that doesn't feel like a hardship or a grind."

"Come on, getting on a treadmill every day would make me slit my throat."

"To warm up, I do the cha-cha that Maks and I did... it kicks your ass, it's crazy."

"I probably have more energy than I've ever had in my life."
