Katie Couric makes sure she's smiling for the duration of the first ad for 'Katie' set to Colbie Caillat's 'Brighter Than the Sun'.

Couric's new daytime talk show, which she's described as "topical but not a news show", is scheduled to premiere in the 3 PM timeslot across various ABC affiliates in September.
