Kathy Griffin: 'No Longer Sorry' For Decapitated Donald Tump Photo

Kathy Griffin is taking back the apology for her controversial photoshoot in which she held up what was supposed to be Donald Trump's severed head in May.

"I'm no longer sorry," Griffin said in a candid interview with Australia's 'Sunrise'. "The whole outrage was BS. The whole thing got so blown out of proportion.”

"I lost everybody. I had Chelsea Clinton tweeting against me. I had friends, Debra Messing from Will & Grace, tweeting against me. I lost everybody.”

"I have been through the mill and I didn't just lose one night on CNN,” she continued. "These Trump fans, they're hardcore."

When host Samantha Armytage pointed out "Even Democrats said it was out of line" and asked "Do you not accept that was a little bit over the line?," Griffin flatly said no.

"No, you’re full of crap," replied the comedian.

"Stop acting like my little picture is more important than talking about the actual atrocities that the President of the United States is committing."
