Katherine Jackson: Paris' Treatment Going 'Really Good'

Two months after she entered treatment following a suicide attempt, Katherine Jackson says her granddaughter, Paris, is doing "much better."

"She is in a good place, getting the help she needs," Jackson tells Hello Magazine. "The treatment is going good, really good."

"She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard," she says. "All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died Paris was crying and said, 'I want to go and see daddy; I don't want to be without him.'"

Katherine shares legal guardianship of Paris, Prince and Blanket. Although she's decided to leave behind the masks Jackson had the children wear in public.

"I had thought about it and I said, 'I am not going to raise them like that," she added. "But Michael had a good reason. He was trying to protect them."

"The kids are great. They are incredibly polite and that's down to the way Michael brought them up. He instilled good manners."

Katherine says she misses Michael, who would have 55 this month.

"There's not a day goes by that I don't think about him; when I don't shed a tear," she admits. "He was a very good father, the best. He was a good son, too."
