Kara DioGuardi Disappointed By The Way She's Being Treated

Kara DioGuardi's father says the 'American Idol' judge is disappointed by the silent treatment she is receiving from Fox.

"Would you believe she did not hear -- and still has not heard -- anything?," the Republican senate candidate Joe DioGuardi says in an interview.

"She read it the way you did and I did. Her disappointment is that that's the way she's being treated and she feels that's not proper."

"What could this be about? I think they're trying to create a lot of buzz... they're trying to reformat the thing."

"But Kara has a very deep career in music, she's a singer, songwriter, artist development and she's the executive VP of Warner Bros. music, so she'll be fine," he says.

"Does she want to do it another year? I think so. But she just got married and she'd like to have a family so maybe this could be a good opening for her too."

"She has plenty of options and I think at some point she will at some point confront them on that."
