Justin Bieber's Film To Be Re-Released With 40 Minutes Of New Footage

If you haven't been getting enough Justin Bieber with his appearances on late night talk shows, CSI, at the NBA All-Star game, in magazines and his film, there's more Bieber heading your way.

In an unprecedented move, Paramount's has announced it plans to release an updated Director's Fan Cut of Justin Bieber's 'Never Say Never' for a one-week run beginning on Friday.

The studio says director Jon M. Chu had the idea for the cut as soon he began the editing process several months ago and realized the significant amount of additional footage he had.

The new version, which will replace the original in 3D theaters, and include 40 minutes of new footage from Bieber's friends, his hometown life, new songs, performances, and clips from premieres across the country.

"I realized I had an embarrassment of riches when I was I in the cutting room," says Chu. "This cut allows me to retain some of the best scenes from the original movie, while incorporating previously unseen footage and new material I shot during our extensive promotional tour on behalf of the movie."

"Justin's dedication to his fan base is unwavering and I was inspired as a filmmaker to attempt to provide them a unique experience that showed even more of his world."

To hardcore Justin Bieber fans, this will be another opportunity to scream their lungs out but -- with the film out barely for a couple of weeks -- it sounds like a way for Paramount to double dip at the box office with a single release.
