Jurors Watch R. Kelly's Underage Sex Video In Court
The tape, which was entered into record as 'People's Exhibit No. 1', was shown on a 4-by-4-foot monitor just outside the jury box. The 26-minute home video showed a man having sex with a young female, who is nude for most of the recording, except for a necklace with a cross. But lawyers defending the Grammy Award-winning artist said the tape showed neither Kelly nor the girl they allege was his victim. During opening statements, prosecutor Shauna Boliker told jurors that 'the case will unfold before you frame by disgusting frame', and added, the girl was "doing what she's told. There's no feeling in her face. It is clear she is an underaged girl". "You will see the sex acts he commands her to do. Acts you have never seen before. Vile, disturbing and disgusting sex acts, actions that were choreographed, produced and starred in by Robert Kelly," she said. The tape is said to include oral sex, intercourse, and acts of urination from both the male and female on each other. Prosecutors claim the man in the video is Kelly, and that the female is a girl who was 13 years old when the tape was made. Kelly often looked strained and worried during the proceedings. The singer, who has pleaded not guilty, faces up to 15 years if convicted. Jurors in R. Kelly's child pornography trial, were made to watch a graphic video on Tuesday that allegedly showed the R&B star in a sexual encounter with an underage girl.
