Judge Rejects Kesha's Claims: 'Every Rape Is Not A Gender-Motivated Hate Crime'

A judge has rejected a last ditch effort by Kesha (photosKesha photos) that producer Dr. Luke violated hate crime laws by drugging and sexually abusing her.

"Her claims of insults about her value as an artist, her looks and her weight are insufficient to constitute extreme, outrageous conduct intolerable in a civilized society," Justice Shirley Werner Kornreich said.

"Every rape is not a gender-motivated hate crime."

Additionally, Kornreich noted that the alleged rape happened outside New York and had taken place well beyond the legal time limit, so will not be considered in any future hearings.

Kornreich added the singer's claim of intentional infliction of emotional stress were enough, "insults about her value as an artist, her looks, and her weight are insufficient to constitute extreme, outrageous conduct intolerable in civilized society."

The judgement comes after Kesha claimed the producer offering her a private deal to get out of her contract and "her freedom" if she recanted the allegations.
