Joseph Gordon-Levitt Takes Over The Drums On 'Late Late Show'

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and 'Late Late' Show drummer Guillermo Brown switch seats for a part of the show so the actor can show off the drummer skills he taught himself.

Gordon-Levitt reveals he had plenty of practice -- without a real set of drums.

"Well, the cool thing about drums is you can practice without a drum set," he says. "That's different than any other instrument."

"I first played on a friend's set when I was 14 or something. And, you know, tried it out. I couldn't really do it that well. But you can learn the syncopation without really anything."

"It's just about keeping one beat with your foot, one beat with your hand and one beat with this hand."
