Jon Gosselin and TLC Reach Settlement In Lawsuit

The fight between reality TV's dad, Jon Gosselin, and TLC is finally over.

TLC sued Gosselin in October, claiming he failed to meet his obligations as an exclusive employee of the network while making paid appearances on rival networks and disclosing private details about the show.

Not long after Gosselin filed a countersuit for $5 million claiming TLC had violated Pennsylvania's child labor laws in filming 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' and blamed the network for damaging his career by preventing him from working with other media outlets.

"TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation," TLC says in a statement. "All terms of the settlement are confidential."

The statement curiously adds "the whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC."

But don't expect 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' to make a return to the airwaves. Jon has already shown interest in starring in his own reality series. Meanwhile, ex-wife Kate will debut her as-yet-untitled TLC series sometime later this year.
