Johnny Depp On Trump: 'When Was The Last Time An Actor Assassinated A President?'

Johnny Depp made an appearance at a movie event in Glastonbury, UK on Thursday to talk about his 2004 film 'The Libertine'.

Depp managed to connect the film about a 17th-century poet who drank himself to death to the current American President, who ironically doesn't drink at all.

"I think Donald Trump needs help," he said, according to the Telegraph. "There are a lot of dark places he could go."

"I'm not insinuating anything - by the way this will be in the press and it will be horrible - but when was the last time an actor assassinated a president?"

"Don't worry, I'm not an actor, I lie for a living," he said as the crowd cheered.

"But it's a film that needs to be seen."

The festival at Glastonbury, which lets viewers watch films while sitting in remodelled vintage cars, boasts the biggest screen in the UK.
