Jay Leno Reveals How Little He Cared About Some 'Tonight Show' Guests

In an appearance to help wrap up Craig Ferguson's run as host of 'The Late Late Show', Jay Leno told a cringe worthy story to prove how little he cared about some 'Tonight Show' guests.

"Did you ever get tired?," Ferguson asked the former host. "You ever glass over when they were talking sometimes?"

Ferguson said it was usually his fault for zoning out and not the guests but Leno didn't agree.

"No, it was the people on the show!," Leno exclaimed. "The classic example is I had one of these reality stars on... Trista! From one of these Bachelorettes."

"So, I'm sitting and I'm looking at the side of her head. I couldn't be less interested. I've never seen this stupid reality show," he said candidly referring to the first ever 'Bachelorette' Trista Sutter, "you know what it was."

"So I said thank you and good talking to you. Nice to see you, good night everybody."

"I go out in the parking lot and there's this woman standing next to her boyfriend. She goes 'Hey, can I have a picture'. I say 'Sure, how are you doing?'. She goes 'Good.'"

Leno then casually asked what her name was and that's when it finally dawned upon him that it was the same woman he had on the show moments earlier.
