Jane Lynch Tries Not To Cry Remembering Cory Monteith On 'Tonight Show'

Jane Lynch tries not to cry as she talks about friend and 'Glee' co-star Cory Monteith on 'The Tonight Show'.

Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room due to a heroin and alcohol overdose.

"Cory had one of the biggest hearts. He was a real bright light," said Lynch. "He was one of those guys that he knew he was breathing rarified air... the gifts that this wonderful show gave us."

"He was always aware that it was a gift and he was quite generous and one of those adventurous types of people. You know, I always admired how he'd just get up and fly to Mexico, throw parties for his friends."

"I don't think he left one day unlived. He was a real bright light in our family. We've lost a really great guy."

"He once flew across the country on his own nickel to meet a sick kid whose last wish was to meet him. I mean that's the kind of guy he was. He was just a real giver."
