Jake Tapper Talks About Donald Trump's Attempt to Delegitimize CNN

CNN's Chief Washington Correspondent Jake Tapper discusses Donald Trump's attempt to delegitimize CNN during his first press conference as President-Elect after it broke a story about an unsubstantiated dossier about the Russian government's influence on Trump.

Tapper makes a great point as he recalls the Obama administration attempting to do much the same with Fox News.

"This is one of the things that happened during the first Obama term," Tapper says.

"They went to work to try to say that Fox News was illegitimate. This entire organization, including hundreds of reporters doing honest work, were illegitimate."

"While they were doing that, I challenged them for that specifically because it's an important principle to stand up for. We're all supposed to be in this together."

"If you're with an organization that's not CNN and watch him try to destroy us just because he doesn't like the story, then you're next. You're next if you have if you're doing your job and have a story they don't like."
