Isaiah Washington Moves Out of House After Facing Eviction

Former 'Grey's Anatomy' star Isaiah Washington has moved out of the house that has caused him some recent financial troubles.

Washington and his wife were facing eviction after falling behind on rent by more than $100,000. According to documents filed in Santa Monica, the two were told they were facing eviction unless the overdue amount was paid.

At least two housekeepers were spotted on the scene packing the famiy's belongings in a large box, and taking photographs off the walls.

The court papers, which were filed by his landlord, claim that Washington hasn't made the $20,000 monthly payments on his $3,650,000 Venice area home in more than five months.

The 45-year-old was fired from 'Grey's Anatomy' in 2007 after hurling a gay slur at costar T.R. Knight, who hadn't come out of the closet at the time.

"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore," Washington said in a statement after he was let go, borrowing the famous line from 'Network'. The actor claimed that "they fired the wrong guy", referring to Knight, and accused him of using the controversy to bolster his own career and increase his salary on the show.

Since then, Isaiah Washington has been doing guest spots. The longest one being a story arc on the now-cancelled 'Bionic Woman'. He most recently appeared on A&E's 'The Cleaner'.
