Hugh Grant Responds After Jon Stewart Calls Him Worst 'Daily Show' Guest

Hugh Grant is fessing up after Jon Stewart recently said the British actor would "never" be back on 'The Daily Show' after being a disastrous 2009 appearance.

Stewart said, on the show to promote his 2009 comedy 'Did You Hear About the Morgans?', Grant complained in the studio about having "other places to be."

"He's giving everyone shit the whole time, and he's a big pain in the ass," sniped Stewart about Grant. "And we've had dictators on the show!"

On air, Grant told Stewart he was unhappy with the clip chosen for his interview saying: What is that clip? It's a terrible clip."

"Well, then make a better f---ing movie," Stewart said.

The Comedy Central host said he will "never" have Grant back on his show.

But Grant has surprisingly responded to Stewart's diss.

"Turns out my inner crab got the better of me with TV producer in 09. Unforgivable," he says on Twitter. "J Stewart correct to give me kicking."

Grant's latest role is in the film 'Cloud Atlas'.
