Holly Madison To Compete On Upcoming 'Dancing with the Stars'

Now that she is single and free from Playboy, Holly Madison is joining the new season of 'Dancing with the Stars'.

Multiple sources are reporting Madison agreed to join the celebrity dance competition on Monday, and has already begun rehearsing with partner Dmitry Chaplin.

'Dancing With the Stars' producers haven't officially confirmed the news, however, that didn't stop her former 'Girls Next Door' co-star, Bridget Marquardt, from letting the news slip on Fox.

"I'm so excited for her," said Bridget. "She's wanted to do it for so long, it just never worked with her schedule and Hef was always like 'I don't want you to do that,' and now it's her time, so I'm really happy for her."

There is speculation that Madison is replacing Jewel, who has been struggling with tendonitis in her knee, but the singer's publicist says its a 'minor setback' and she hasn't dropped out of the competition just yet.

To us it sounds like Holly will be a part of the competition, even if Jewel can compete, when 'Dancing With the Stars' premieres on March 9. This will allow ABC to hedge its bets in the event that she has to drop out early due to the recurring knee problems.

Holly Madison split from illusionist Criss Angel last week.

Update: Jewel has just dropped out the competition, so Holly's casting appears to have been all but officially confirmed.
