Hines Ward and Al Michaels Don't Believe Tom Brady's 'Deflate-Gate' Defense
Former NFL star Hines Ward tells Seth Meyers he isn't buying Bill Belichick and Tom Brady's denials that they didn't know about the deflated footballs in their playoff game against the Colts. "I gotta say it's all about the integrity of the game. The deflated balls give you an edge and an advantage to throw it," explains Ward. "By deflating the football, it almost feels like a Nerf football. You feel like you're throwing a mile." "Regardless the rules are the rules and they got caught and now they have to deal with the consequences. The thing about it if the Patriots win is it will be tainted. They're going to say you cheated."
Al Michaels also weighs in on the controversy and points out even former QBs are saying Brady should have known about the discrepancy.
Even actor Edward Norton briefly spoke about deflate-gate with Jimmy Kimmel but the conversation mostly centered around "balls" until it devolved into wonderment about seahorses.
Conan also weighed in with other ways in which the Patriots have cheated -- with one method having Bill Cosby being responsible for the other team's drinks.
