'Growing Pains' Producer Sentenced For Child Porn

An executive producer for the 1980s television show 'Growing Pains' has been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for the distribution of child pornography.

Steven Marshall, who was arrested last April on charges of distribution and possession of child pornography, pleaded guilty in Arkansas to distribution on Tuesday. However, the possession charge was dropped.

The minimum sentence for the distribution charge is five years, but Judge J. Leon Holmes said Marshall was sentenced to an additional two and half years because of the explicit nature of the pictures found.

Prosecutors said Marshall engaged in sending, receiving child porn and even participated in online chats involving child abduction, bondage and rapes.
