Goldie Hawn Plots Return To Television With HBO's 'Viagra Diaries'

HBO and 'Sex and the City' creator Darren Star are teaming up once again for a comedy project called 'Viagra Diaries'.

Based on the book by Barbara Rose Brooker of the same name, Star is developing the project for HBO about a woman who struggles with being single for the first time in 35 years, after her husband leaves her.

The 65-year-old Goldie Hawn has been lined up to star in the pilot. This would mark her first acting role since 'The Banger Sisters' almost ten years ago.

If picked up, it would also be Hawn's first regular TV series role since 1970.

Along with the wildly successful HBO series, Darren Star is also known for creating hits such as 'Melrose Place' and 'Beverly Hills: 90210'.
