'Full House' Revival In The Works Two Decades After Original

Warner Bros. Television is considering a 'Full House' revival.

The studio is in the early stages of bringing the ABC sitcom, which ran from 1987 to 1995, back to life with a reboot that would include some members of the original cast.

John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse and has an ownership stake in the series, is apparently leading talks to bring the series back to television.

Candace Cameron Bure, who played D.J., Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie and Andrea Barber, the annoying Kimmy, are also said to be on board. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will likely not return.

A revival of the series would probably follow a similar format to that of Disney's 'Girl Meets World' with it being part spin-off and part reboot.

John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier reunited this past year to promote Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt, including a skit with Jimmy Fallon.
