'Fringe', '30 Rock', 'Community', 'Parks' and 'The Office' Renewed

NBC has announced the pickup of all four Thursday night comedies and Fox has renewed 'Fringe' for a third season.

"We are happy to give these early pickups to these critically acclaimed, incredibly funny comedies," said NBC entertainment president Angela Bromstad of 'Community', 'The Office', '30 Rock' and 'Parks & Recreation'.

"We look forward to continuing our rewarding partnership with the respective creative teams as they all consistently deliver quality shows."

"Drizzle drizzle! NBC picked us up for Season 2 of Greendale shennanigans," 'Community's Danny Pudi excitedly wrote on his Twitter. "Thank YOU for watching and Thank YOU cast and crew for the best job!"

Meanwhile, nervous 'Fringe' fans can take breathe as the show has finally been renewed for a third season by Fox.

While the show isn't setting any ratings records, it's consistently delivering for the network with about 7.6 million viewers on a tough Thursday night.

"Fringe tapped into a deep creative mine this year that built momentum throughout the season and helped give us our first real foothold on TV's most competitive night," says Kevin Reilly, Entertainment President for Fox.

"The entire team, from the producers and writers to the cast and crew, has taken smart storytelling and top production quality to a whole new level. The rest of this season is mind-blowing, and we can't wait to get started on the third installment of this amazing journey."

The second season of 'Fringe' resumes with eight all-new episodes beginning Thursday, April 1.
