'Friends' Matt LeBlanc To Join BBC's 'Top Gear'
The casting is part of a revamp of the world popular car show. Fans will recall Jeremy Clarkson left the program amid scandal after he punched a producer during an off-set altercation. His co-hosts followed him on his way out. LeBlanc, who starred on 'Friends' as Joey Tribbiani, will be the first actor to co-host the show. "As a car nut and a massive fan of Top Gear, I'm honored and excited to be a part of this iconic show's new chapter," he says. "What a thrill!" LeBlanc's addition to the show was announced with Chris Evans sharing a photo of them together. "Acting out our craziest car notions on screen is a dream job and I know we'll both be debating some epic road trip ideas," says Evans. Former 'Friends' star Matt LeBlanc is joining the BBC's 'Top Gear'.
