Former 'CSI' Star Gary Dourdan Charged With Drug Possession
Former 'CSI' star Gary Dourdan has been charged with drug possession after officials determined he was carrying Oxycontin when he crashed into several parked cars in Hollywood last month.
Initially, police believed Dourdan was in possession of ecstasy but detectives later identified the pills as prescription painkiller Oxycontin, which is also known as 'hillbilly heroin'.
This isn't the first time Dourdan's been in trouble for drugs.
He was charged with felony possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy after cops found him asleep in his car in 2008. And arrested for domestic violence in 2010.
The 44-year-old, whose character was killed off 'CSI' the same year, has been officially charged for possession of drugs as well as drug paraphernalia for this latest incident.
If he is convicted on both charges, he could face up to a year in jail.
