Flu Forces Billy Joel To Cancel Second Show With Elton John

Billy Joel and Elton John have been forced to cancel a second joint concert on Monday because Joel is ill with the flu.

The pair were scheduled to perform at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. In a release, the venue says they decided to delay Monday's show because Joel's doctors advised him not to perform for 72 hours because of "flu-like symptoms" and "extreme fatigue."

The stars also skipped their scheduled Friday performance at Buffalo's HSBC Arena, when Joel first came down with the illness, so it will be the second show they have bowed out of their top-grossing tour.

John and Joel have been touring together for two months under the 'Face 2 Face' banner. In the concerts, they take the stage for a series of piano duets, before going on to sing some of their biggest solo hits.

Fans are being advised to hold on to their tickets from the Albany and Buffalo shows until arrangements can be made for make-up shows.
