First Trailer For US Version Of 'Top Gear' Debuts (Video)

The first trailer for the American version of 'Top Gear' has been released and we have to say we're bitterly disappointed.

While the original has great cinematography, the chemistry of Jeremy Clarkson, Captain Slow and The Hamster, and access to the best and coolest cars in the world thanks to its status, we get two guys in lumberjack shirts and a comedian.

The comedian being Adam Ferrera, and the other two being stunt driver Tanner Foust and Speed Channel racing analyst Rutledge Wood.

And to just make things slightly worse, the show will be produced and broadcast on the History Channel after NBC decided to pass after its reboot of 'Knight Rider' crashed and burned -- which means a drastically lower budget and production value.

A fact that's not hard to miss in this two minute preview in which Ferrara drives an old beat-up Cadillac through a 'Moonshiner’s Test Track':
