Farrah Fawcett's Funeral Attended by Hundreds of Family and Friends

Hundreds of mourners paid tribute to Farrah Fawcett as the 'Charlie's Angels' star was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actress died at 62 last Thursday after a three-year battle with cancer, news that was quickly overshadowed by the sudden death of Michael Jackson later the same day.

Her former Charlie's Angels co-stars, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd (who replaced Fawcett on the show), Ernie Hudson, Garry Shandling, Marla Maples, Tatum O'Neal, Cheryl Tiegs, Jackie Collins, Joan Collins and Fawcett's ex Lee Majors were among the 200 guests, along with her best friend Alana Stewart and longtime partner Ryan O'Neal.

Fawcett's 24-year-old son Redmond, who is serving a sentence for drug-related charges, was also granted compassionate leave from prison to attend the funeral.

"Goodbye sweet girl," said Stewart. "She never felt sorry for herself during her illness. She fought cancer furiously. She's the most beautiful angel in heaven. She always seemed so indestructible."
