Erin Andrews Covers Peephole, Checks For Recording Devices Since Leaked Video
Andrews said she now often wonders before going on a first date whether: "Has he seen the video? Have his friends seen the video?" The former ESPN reporter has sued the operator of the hotel chain where Michael David Barrett altered the peephole to her hotel room and recorded a video of her nude. Andrews said she now had "baggage" because of the video and spoke about her current boyfriend without naming him, Minnesota Wild player Jarret Stoll. "I feel really guilty he didn't know me before this happened and to try to explain to someone who has questions about why I have trust issues, why I'm insecure, why I'm embarrassed; he doesn't understand," she said. She said she always changes from her pre-booked room and never allows anyone else in the room. Andrews said she covers the peephole, checks for recording devices and places a "booby trap" paper by the door to tell if someone has been in the room. Barrett was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after being arrested in 2009. Nashville Marriott has said that the criminal actions were not their responsibility. In her second day on the stand in her $75 million lawsuit against the Nashville Marriott, Erin Andrews (photos
