Emmys May Have Been Least Watched In History

Preliminary ratings for the Emmys are coming in, and they don't look good.

If the numbers stand up, the Emmys broadcast could be the least-watched in history.

Preliminary numbers from Nielsen put the audience for Sunday's show, which aired on Fox, at 13.1 million viewers. That's 3 million fewer than for last year and less than the record low 13.8 million three years ago on ABC.

It appears more viewers elected to watch the NFL game on NBC, which showed the New England Patriots vs. San Diego Chargers. That game was seen by about 13.3 million viewers.
