Eggs Thrown At Simon Cowell During 'Britain's Got Talent' Finale

A woman on 'Britain's Got Talent' got to do what many contestants have probably been wanting to do for years on Saturday night.

During the 'Britain's Got Talent's season finale, 33-year-old violinist Natalie Holt walked onto the stage during a performance by opera singing brothers and began throwing eggs at Cowell and the judges.

Holt, whose band Raven Quartet auditioned on the competition last year, was promptly escored off the stage as the befuddled brothers continued to sing.

"I want to apologize to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance. I've never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realised it was a silly thing to do," she said later.

"I don't think eggs should be allowed on talent shows," Cowell quipped on Twitter later. "I really don't like eggs."

Richard and Adam Johnson, the Johnson brothers who Holt interrupted, finished third while a dance group took home first place.
