Donald Trump Once Proposed Black vs White Season of 'Apprentice'

Donald Trump is facing heat for once suggesting a racially divided season of 'The Apprentice'.

According to a report, Trump stated during his short-lived syndicated radio show 'Trumped' in 2005 that he wanted to divide contestants on an upcoming season by race.

Trump admitted it was "an idea that is fairly controversial — creating a team of successful African-Americans versus a team of successful whites."

"Whether people like that idea or not, it is somewhat reflective of our very vicious world," he explained. "But needless to say, not everybody thinks it's a good idea."

The proposal, called 'The Apprentice: The Race War' at the time, never became a reality after NBC rejected it outright.
