Discovery Orders Giant Game of Hide-and-Seek Around The World

Discovery Channel has just given the green light to a new series that will challenge contestants to hide anywhere in the world while a team of investigators tries to hunt them down.

In the currently titled 'Disappeared', the contestants will be told to go 'off the grid' and as a psychological profiler, a US Marshal and a computer expert tries to determine their whereabouts.

"It's a giant game of hide-and-seek with a fair amount of high-tech wizardry," Discovery president Clark Bunting tells EW.

The series is expected to debut in mid to late 2011.
