Employee Disabled Donald Trump's Twitter Account On Final Day On The Job

An employee decided to make his or her last day on the job a memorable one by disabling Donald Trump's Twitter account.

Trump's Twitter account was shut down on Thursday around 7 PM ET for nearly 11 minutes as users received the message: "Sorry, that page doesn't exist!"

"Earlier today Donald Trump's account was inadvertently deactivated due to human error by a Twitter employee. The account was down for 11 minutes, and has since been restored," the company said in its first statement.

After realizing it wasn't a human error but a deliberate act, Twitter explained: "Through our investigation we have learned that this was done by a Twitter customer support employee who did this on the employee's last day. We are conducting a full internal review."

During those 11 minutes, some critics of the President shared memes that "the evil is defeated."
