'Deadpool 2' Announced With Ryan Reynolds and Original Creative Team

A sequel to the enormously successful 'Deadpool' has been confirmed.

Star Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller will return with the original creative team to recreate the R-rated magic.

The film has earned more than $750 million worldwide, making it the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time, on a budget of just $58 million.

No details on the follow-up were released. However, Miller has hinted that Cable will be involved in some fashion.

The director has previously joked "if we don't put Cable in Deadpool 2 I think we'll be run out of town on a rail."

Cable is the adult son of the Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor, who was transported as an infant to the future, where he grew into a warrior, before returning to the present.
