David Letterman To Talk About 'Late Show' Affairs With Oprah Winfrey

Three years after David Letterman was forced to go public that he had affairs with female members of the 'Late Show' staff, the talk show host will talk about them in an interview.

Letterman will talk about the scandal in a sit down interview with Oprah Winfrey on an episode of 'Oprah's Next Chapter' set to air on January 6, 2013.

The 65-year-old will discuss how he finally decided to reveal details of the $2 million extortion plot and how he repaired his marriage with wife Regina Lasko.

Letterman, who had married Lasko earlier that year -- after dating for 23 years, apologized to his wife and other staff on the air once the story exploded.

It was also revealed that Stephanie Birkitt, the woman at the center of extortion plot, wasn't just an intern but had made several appearances on the 'Late Show' in bits with Letterman himself.

Letterman, appearing visibly uncomfortable in a promotional clip, will also talk about his battle with depression and his supposed rivalry with Winfrey.
