Danny DeVito Talks About Audition To Land Role On 'Taxi'

Danny DeVito recalls his audition for the classic sitcom 'Taxi' and reuniting with the cast every few years.

"Auditioning is really very, very difficult. I remember how I got the part. I read the script. It was a fantastic script. I knew I wanted this part really bad," said DeVito.

"The character was so... you know, Louie De Palma was in a place of his own."

"I walked in with the script. I didn't know anybody in the room," he explained. "I took two steps with the script in my hand. I knew I was going to audition."

"I went in and before I started I threw it on the table and I said 'One thing I want to know before I start, who wrote this sh-t?'"

"It's one of my favorites... Louie walked into there."
