Court Papers Reveal Financial Trouble In Jodie Sweetin's Marriage

Recently filed court papers are shedding more light on the separation of Jodie Sweetin from her husband, Cody Herpin.

The former 'Full House' star says overdue bills and her husband's lack of employment were key factors in the collapse of their marriage: "Our house is in foreclosure, our water has been shut off twice. Currently, all of our other utilities are overdue... He kept finding one excuse after another for his failure to even attempt to find employment."

Sweetin says that the two had been getting by based on her 'Full House' residuals and help from her parents.

The actress filed for separation from Herpin last month, but he claims none of it is true: "I still have no idea what this is about. None of this makes sense," he tells 'People'. "I was the stay-at-home dad, my job was taking care of Zoie."

In her filing, Sweetin recalls the conversation when she told Herpin she no longer wanted to be married to him: "He told me I could not take Zoie with me."

"He said he would call the police and report that she was abducted by me and seek sole custody. He grabbed Zoie from the floor where she was playing... but put Zoie down and later went for a walk." That's when she took her daughter and left to live with her parents.
