Cosby Wants Accuser To Return Money He Paid To Settle Sexual-Assault Case

Bill Cosby wants his money back and has sued the accuser in a criminal sexual-assault case against him for talking to police.

Citing their confidentiality agreement, Cosby wants Andrea Constand to return the money he paid her to settle her 2005 civil lawsuit because she spoke with police. Authorities have since reopened the case.

In his lawsuit, Cosby claims that Constand wasn't required to talk to police and since she did so "voluntary," she violated their agreement to keep quiet about the case.

"Despite being under no legal obligation to discuss any aspects of the events and allegations... and despite being expressly prohibited from disclosing such information to anyone, Andrea Constand volunteered to participate and disclosed such information to the district attorney and others," read the documents.

His lawyers claim "serious and irreparable harm" that should be compensated by damages.

The lawsuit is Cosby's latest attack against the dozens of women who have accused him of taking advantage of them. However, the move is likely worsen Cosby's reputation as a bully.

The comedian could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of sexually assaulting Constand in 2004.
