CNN Refuses to Air President Donald Trump's 'First 100 Days' Ad

CNN is refusing to air President Donald Trump's "First 100 Days" ad because it claims the mainstream media is "fake news."

The cable news network says the ad, which celebrates his nomination of Judge Gorsuch to the Supreme Court among other things, because it's "false."

It especially takes issue with this line and the graphic that follows it in the ad: "You wouldn't know it from watching the news. America is winning."

The graphic on the screen shows five journalists from various networks, including CNN's Wolf Blitzer, with the words "Fake News" above it.

"CNN requested that the advertiser remove the false graphic that says the mainstream media is 'fake news,'" the network says. "The mainstream media is not fake news, and therefore the ad is false. Per our policy, it will be accepted only if that graphic is deleted. Those are the facts."

Donald Trump's campaign director Michael Glassner says the truth is that "CNN takes issue with the ad's message calling out the mainstream media for peddling fake news and not reporting on the fact that President Trump is making America great again."
