Chris Brown Threatened to Kill Rihanna; Charged With Two Felonies

Nearly a month after Chris Brown was arrested, he has been formally charged with two felonies: assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury and making criminal threats.

The District Attorney also identified Brown's victim for the first time as 'Robyn F'. Rihanna (photosRihanna photos)'s real name is known to be Robyn Fenty.

And the police report made public on Thursday from the scene of the assault reveals disturbing details about what happened between the singer and her longtime boyfriend in the early hours of February 8. The incident apparently began after Rihanna picked up Brown’s cell phone and read a "three page text message from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with."

"A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out," reads Detective De Shon Andrews' report.

Brown was unable to force Rihanna out of the car because of her seat belt. It was then he began attacking Rihanna.

"When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against the passenger window of the vehicle causing an approximate one inch raised circular contusion. Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand."

"The assault caused Robyn F’s. mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle. Brown looked at her and stated, 'I'm going to beat the shit out of you when we get home! You wait and see!'"

Rihanna called her assistant and got her voice mail, "I'm on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there," she said.

That infuriated Brown even further. "You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you!," he screamed.

As the beating continued, Brown threw Rihanna's cell phone out the window, and when she went to grab Brown's cell phone to call, he put her in a headlock, as he continued to drive. He then pulled her closer and "bit her on her left ear", before briefly stopping the car.

Rihanna was able to turn off the car at take the key out of the ignition. Not able to drive, Brown continued to attack her and began choking her to the point where "she began to lose consciousness," according to the report.

The singer was finally able to push Brown away with her feet and began screaming for help, while Brown ran away from the scene. It was then a resident in the neighborhood overheard the calls for help and dialed 911.

Confounding Rihanna's family and many observers, the pair met in Miami last weekend, spending time at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' mansion, and evidently working on a reconciliation. The two returned on the same private plane to Los Angeles.

If Brown is convicted, he could face anywhere from probation to a maximum of four years and eight months in state prison. However, if Rihanna refuses to testify, the case will likely not go to trial.
